Tata Steel Chess Tournament
From January 14 to 30, 2022, the 84th Tata Steel Chess Tournament will take place again. We have been sponsoring the chess tournament for many years, and are pleased to provide support for this fine event again this year.
About the tournament
The Tata Steel Chess Tournament consists of 3 classifications: Masters, Challengers and Amateurs. This year, due to the corona pandemic, only the Challengers and Masters will play. The event takes place at De Moriaan sports hall in Wijk aan Zee, but this year can only be followed online.
Many high-profile players are making an appearance in the Masters group, including defending champion Jorden van Foreest, seven-time winner and current world champion Magnus Carlsen and other big names such as Anish Giri and Fabiano Caruana. For the full group of Masters, check the tournament website.
BuildingCareers as sponsor of Tata Steel Chess Tournament
As specialists in personnel and contracts, we handle the contracting of the volunteers who make the tournament possible. This is how our expertise comes in handy.
We are honored to be able to contribute to this beautiful event that Tata Steel is associated with as one of our largest clients. We also value technical acumen and strategy: both things are important both in chess and in the work of the technicians we mediate.

We hope it will be another beautiful, memorable edition and of course hope that the next (anniversary) edition can take place again in its normal form, with the amateur tournament and the presence of many chess enthusiasts!
