We are affiliated with various networking organizations, interest groups and meet the required seals of approval for our industry.

BuildingCareers is NEN certified and meets the standard NEN 4400 – 1. This standard contains requirements for testing and assessing companies that provide labour and (sub)contractors, in order to determine that they are organised in such a way that it follows that labour obligations are met. The labour obligations, as referred to in this standard, are: the declaration and payment of payroll taxes, sales tax, the administration of identification documents and furthermore the execution of identity checks and checks on the right to work in the Netherlands.

SNA (Stichting Normering Arbeid, the labour standards foundation) checks once a year whether companies comply with their obligations. The SNA quality mark was developed to limit the risks for clients.

BuildingCareers makes extensive use of the test instruments developed by MatchQ. MatchQ helps us gain a better insight in our human capital, so we can make better matches.

ABU

BuildingCareers is affiliated with the ABU (General Union for Temporary Employment Agencies). ABU members must comply with various quality requirements and financial reliability. They are periodically screened for this.

BuildingCareers is a member of the interest group OV IJmond. This group is about sharing knowledge, connecting people and representing the interests of the business community in the IJmond region.

In search of the best match, BuildingCareers makes use of modern tools; Recruit Robin is a sourcing tool that uses artificial intelligence, allowing us to find and approach available candidates even faster.

BuildingCareers is a member of Amports, one of the most important network and marketing organisation for the ports of Amsterdam. Amports aims to strengthen the network of port and port-related companies and to ensure that stakeholders in the North Sea Canal area feel connected to the port sector.

BuildingCareers is a member of AYOP, the partnership of companies and authorities in the region of the ports of Amsterdam and IJmuiden.

BuildingCareers is sponsor of the annual Techport Technology Week and endorses the goals of Techport: a healthy labour market, an up-to-date and challenging training offer and sufficient talent for the future of the manufacturing and maintenance industry.

VCU

BuildingCareers meets the requirements of VCU and is audited annually.

VCU stands for Safety and Health Checklist for Temporary Employment Agencies and is meant to give temporary employees who carry out high-risk work every opportunity to work in a safe and healthy manner. It is a programme that tests and certifies a company’s ability to work with clients and candidates towards a better safety culture.

BuildingCareers is a member of Industrielinqs press and platform: a modern publishing and networking platform for the industry. Within the Industrielinqs platforms, partners, members and experts work together on extensive knowledge networks. Quality of information and strong mutual relationships have priority.

BuildingCareers closely cooperates with the Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI), professional association for engineers and organiser of the ‘Engineer of the Year’ election.
