Project Lead Electrical – Amsterdam
Introduction
Responsible for electrical design and integration of complex systems on superyachts.
Function
· Lead the electrical scope of the build process from contract phase to delivery
· Prepare technical specifications and assess supplier solutions
· Monitor budget, schedule, and quality within your scope
· Coordinate with designers, phase managers, and external partners
· Prepare project and progress reports
· Translate client and architect requirements into feasible technical solutions
· Ensure compliance with class and flag state requirements

Royal Van Lent Shipyard, part of Feadship, builds and refits superyachts in state-of-the-art dock halls. The company combines craftsmanship with innovative technology and focuses on quality, safety, and sustainability. From its yards in Amsterdam and Kaag, projects are delivered for an international clientele, with strong emphasis on engineering and project control.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
· Experience with large, complex projects and system integration
· Knowledge of yacht-building processes and electrical systems
· Skilled in project-based work and stakeholder management
· Excellent command of Dutch and English
· Advantageous: familiarity with innovations in electrical engineering and maritime standards
Offer
· Salary range €5,500 – €6,500 gross per month
· One-year contract with prospect of permanent employment
· 40 days off (27 vacation days + 13 ADV)
· Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre
