Kick-off Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2020
The 82 ͤ Tata Steel Chess Tournament is about to start. The tournament officially opens today, Friday, Jan. 10, and lasts until Sunday, Jan. 26.
There is plenty happening in Wijk Aan Zee in the coming weeks; in addition to the Main Event at De Moriaan, there are several activities such as pub chess, live commentary of the games at Café De Zon, a historic village walk and a festival for the whole family on Jan. 18 and 19. And as part of Chess On Tour, a round will be played at the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven on January 16.
